In "better, stronger, faster....", Oster melts conventional synths, circuit bent instruments, damaged tape, blurred ambiences, field recordings, and manipulated electronics into what is now, "better, stronger, faster, and almost housebroken".

Equipment (ab)used included Roland JP8000, Elektron SID Station, and Korg MicroKorg synthesizers; circuitbent Speak and Math, Roland TR-707 drum machine, Casio SK-1s, and a "flea market" brand toy keyboard; Roland TR-606 drum machine; Digidesign Pro Tools TDM system; Antares kantos, Waves, Sony Oxford, Apogee and Digidesign plugins; Manley Vari-Mu compressor; Cascade spring reverb; Tascam Porta 07 cassette 4 track (which died during this production), TEAC stereo cassette, Olympus micro-cassette; HHB CD-recorders; Apple Macintosh computers; AMEK preamp/DI; Paul Reed Smith guitar; JC Penny microphone (circa early 1960's), AKG D-160 microphone; lovingly hand-damaged tape, steak knives, bottle opener, spoons and forks, spatula, and a screwdriver.

Michael Oster - Artist Bio:
Michael began his professional career in 1992. In 1993 he started his own recording studio, F7 Sound and Vision. In addition to his numerous recording, editing and mastering credits, Michael created the sample CD-ROMs Concept:FX vol. 1, Concept:FX2, and Concept:FX3 which are in use around the world. His other recording credits include the documentary CDs Suburban Thunder, Suburban Fireworks, Sound of a Dying Hurricane, Night Sounds and the epic CD, Fluid.
